N.S.F.W. is an autobiographical, dark comedy that wades waist deep into the viscus ether that is Bushwick, Brooklyn. It takes a satirical position in its critique of modern art, dating, and the ever-expanding social scenes. Issue one is 36 pages. It revolves around a conversation between myself and two friends about two of the most sought-after commodities in the universe, women and tacos. The conversation quickly
turns from aspirations of nocturnal debauchery to a sci-fi dream sequence. I use the transition into dreaming to introduce color in the comic and enhance the feeling of euphoria and surrealism. As the dream progresses I find myself defending a civilization of wanting, nubile space vixens from a squadron of my spiteful ex-in-laws and lovers. When I awaken I quickly realize that I napped away another Saturday night, and the only way to salvage anything is to draw some comic pages. Each issue will be composed of various anecdotal experiences that have been humorous or influential to my life. These black and white panels are meant to
reflect my reality. The color sequences are an exploration of my dreams and fantasies. Each issue will
feature a dream sequence that is independent from the main, autobiographical story arc.
