Really to be fair, I'd say that my dad liked it. I accidentally damaged his original copy of this book and he practically had a cow. When I told him I'd try to replace it he snorted that it was extremely hard to find. Well challenge accepted! I sent for this book in no time i was passing it back to him. P.S., when i checked the old damaged one out for myself out of curiosity, I found the writing on par with classic X-men series. No needless character assassination or gratuitous sex or violence here. just good writing that supports it's self.

Well there's quite a bit of controversy regarding this issue but I won't get into that here. The story seems to be building towards something. And in a way this issue kinda reminds me of the older comics I grew up reading. That's a good thing. But just how rich was prof X? Kitty didn't really seem too freaked out about that 18 million dollar bill! Why hasn't Peter moved on and which Nightcrawler is that on this team? I guess later issues will answer these questions?
