This is my second X-23 comic book, and my second comic book period. I've always watched superhero movies, but I decided I needed to buy a comic book. It took me quite some time to pick out the right comic book, I wanted beautiful art, a strong female lead, and I knew it had to be X-Men oriented. I grew up with the X-Men cartoon and I just barely remembered X-23 making an appearance.
My first X-23 comic features the Fantastic Four, but more importantly Spiderman, Gambit, Wolverine, and Jubilee! This one features Captain America, Wolverine, and Daredevil! Thus, I now have two X-23 comic books with a few special appearances. The art is beautiful, the storyline interesting, and the characters real. I just love X-23's personality and I know I will be buying more X-23 comics! And I can hopefully start collecting a few others.

I just got into the whole X23 story and I must say I was not disappointed. Some people like to argue that it is just old Wolverine origin stories retold, but it is defiantly not. While Logen's memories are not intact through most of his stoires, X-23's are and in fact haunt her. I think that this alone sets her apart, as well as having a mentor like Wolverine is a plus as she is trying to come to terms with her past and become a person in the process.

i really dont know what to say other than the fact this comics was awesome, the narritive is kinda like a movie, x-23 is being interrogated by captain america and matt murdock x 23 lawyer (daredevil) about her assasinations and the events leading up to her capture as x 23 tells the story of what happened ending with an awesome fight with wolverine. the art dialog and story are fantastic i highly recommend this

This is a good story. Tell you what she did after leaving the center and some of what she went through at the centre that made her. Not sure though what the trigger scent really is. I think it is the scent of the a little boy and the torture she received associates anger to this sent and attacks the one who has this scent. Overall good story and kept my attention.

Be aware that this book was originally released in 2007 but some sellers are passing off the 2nd Print from 2010 as the original.
It's a cracking read but you should probably read the first mini series featuring X-23 collected as  X-23: Innocence Lost TPB  before you read this.
