Couldn't even tell if it was previously opened. My husband was pleased that it was actually a first printing. Others than he has ordered saying 1st printing, weren't always true. ... Amazing... Thank you

So, I bought this because I wanted to know what the new costume would look like and what her new origin would be. Well... I know what the costume looks like. It's a decent comic. I'm sure the story will eventually be told. I wasn't curious enough to keep collecting.

It should be obvious that the DC New 52 will have to take well-worn superhero stories in a totally new direction. What comics fan or movie goer doesn't have these superheroes mythos permanently etched into their brains? Especially with the Wonder Woman, who has been in her share of campy stories, it's not easy to surprise readers.
The creators of this book stun readers with a completely new, unusual, and darker than expected take on Diana, the Wonder Woman. Today's Wonder Woman is light years away from the original Wonder Woman who was barely more than and S&M submissive fantasy girl. At the same time, this Wonder Woman is not the cheesecake Lynda Carter version that adolescent boys watched with their fathers for the exact same reason.
This Wonder Woman book is dark, intense, and exciting. She is interesting, strong, yet still hot. What more can you ask for in a comic? Chiang's artwork here amazes; I only wish he took a bit more time to linger on Wonder Woman herself. Perhaps this is what makes him great; instead of making her the pin-up, he instead follows the tone of the dark, violent story.
This was one of the books I was most looking forward to of the New 52. I had high expectations for this book given the talent of the creators involved; they met them!

I now will be reading that new book on Wonder Woman because she is officially awesome. Highly recommend! Especially because Greek mythology is involved which I find totally hip.

Wonder Woman is the most well known female superhero so I guess it would make sense for her to be fighting crime in a bathing suit. Come on guys. Really? This is 2011. You can't show women some respect even now? And in this particular comic of course their is a bedroom scene where Dianah aka Wonder Woman is naked in bed. What's the point of even giving her a good story if all you are going to do is degrade her to being a sex object and nothing more? I will not be purchasing any more of these comics. I really thought that Wonder Woman would finally be taken seriously but all you are going to find her is more fluff and nudity. Why bother?!
