This debut issue launches with three storylines, all based in Tokyo at different times:
In "Unworthy": A son of a Japanese mafia family (Yakuza), Ryo is set to spend the summer back home in Tokyo, after being away in college in London for a year as an openly gay man with a boyfriend. He puts aside his freedom to go back to the life of extreme family expectations and no gay behavior.
In "Thug": Teenage Jiro begins a desperate search for a missing friend that leads him to a brutal confrontation with a bully. This encounter starts a chain of events that affects everyone who becomes involved.
In "Shadow Puppets": Kenta, a professional assassin, takes on an urgent assignment without his husband and partner, Riki, which may be a huge personal and professional mistake.
