Report
The first story of this volume has Dejah finding herself in the distant future of mars thanks to a malfunctioning time door. It really has nothing to do wtih the overarching story of the series, but is fun for what it is. Now, why the humans who are colonizing mars in this time period all dont have the powers that John Carter has once he gets to mars, I dont know, and its never explained. The second arc focuses on a series of attacks against Helium, all of whom seem to be caused by Dejahs evil brother from an earlier volume. That is a stronger story than the time travel one, as it calls back to alot of the adventures Dejah has had throughout this series. There is an annoying cameo from Carter at the end of this story that comes out of nowhere, but its short enough that it doesn't do too much damage. I would recommend this to anyone whose read the previous volumes, but new readers might find themselves struggling to keep up with the story.

I loved it! This Graphic Novel was a classic combination of the past mixed in with the present John Carter Warlord of Mars and the future Warlords of the RED PLANET. The stories (there's more than one) gave us much more of our beloved Warrior queen of Mars with double the fun a long with double the punch for double the impact (you know what I mean when you read it). I loved the whole time paradox storyline and I enjoyed both time paradox storylines and plots. This story took a short look into Deja Thoris's family history and to boot added a twist toward the end. A twist I know you will really like, no seriously! You have to read the first story to understand the second, but what a way to bring it full circle.
I am impressed with this Graphic Novel and I really wanted more, but so will you. So in short, if you are a Deja Thoris / John Carter Warlord of Mars fan you need to, you have to and you absolutely must add this one to your collection

Dejah Thoris (the series) ends on high adventure and quality storytelling. Collecting the final run of the series, (issues 31-37), Dejah is thrust 1,000 years into the future where she finds Mars under invasion by the Earth. It appears that Earth is becoming uninhabitable so they are terraforming Mars and the conquest have united both the red and green Martians into the resistance. The leader is none other than Dejah Carter, a descendant of our noble heroine.
The second half of the book has Dejah returning to her own time only to deal with the treacheries of her evil brother Kajak. He wants to take over the city of Helium after the rest of the family are dead. Dejah both outsmarts and outfights her brother and all is resolved by the end of the book.
The series has been interesting to follow, a long prequel of sorts to the John Carter stories, as we as readers got to see the exploits of Dejah Thoris. Clearly written with quality art, this series comes to its conclusion.

Scontro finale
