Love Maggie, will be picking up the next volume

Dominic Weaver has a gift. He can absorb anyone's memories and skills by touching their skin, and use those skills until the transfer wears off. When he gets himself in over his head gambling in Singapore, though, a mysterious woman named Maggie Ford shows up to bail him out. On behalf of her boss, who she says she'd rather be working for than running from. She's afraid. Even though she can heal from almost any injury.

By the end of this book, I was like OH MY GOD WHAT IS GOING ON?!?! The noir-style art is gorgeous. And Maggie kicks ass. So they have hooked me for sure!

A gem fraught with surprises!!!

I picked this collection because of Andy Diggle’s excellent work on James Bond, and what gem I discovered! Diggle teams brilliantly with illustrator Aaron Campbell, colorist William Crabtree, and letterer Simon Bowland…each gifted in their craft. The pawns in this story arc are each psychic weapons on the run, falling into trap after trap until the end when — BOOM — you get a shocking surprise!

Off to a good start. Hope this series continues. Want to see where it goes. The first couple issues had me hooked and then it kinda turned into a standard plot, but still enjoyable. and i think now that the set up has happened things will only get better.

This book was a fantastic storyline and the artwork by Aaron Campbell is just outstanding. I kid you not in the third issue there was several pages I just stared at they were so Great looking.

The main character has the ability to read other people by making physical contact with them. Not only does he read them but for a short period of time he can do whatever that person can do. For example- during an escape he grabs a dude knocks him out grabs his radio and tells the rest of the guys in perfect Chinese that he is heading the other direction or making contact with another guy who is a Karate expert, guess how that turned out.

The plot is great this was a huge page turner when I was mesmerized by the artwork. I hate to compare one artist to another but visually this book better than Hawkeye. The story written by Andy Diggle was like a mix of Ed Brubaker and the new Thief of Thieves which Andy Diggle now writes thank goodness.

A crime/noir/action movie style comic with interesting characters and real world settings. Andy Diggle keeps the action moving, the pace is almost frenetic, but he keeps you guessing by not revealing too much plot too soon. That's a skill a lot of writers fail at, making the characters engaging enough to care about, whilst leaving enough questions for you to want to know more and keep reading. Campbell's art is a perfect foil. I don't think I've encountered him before, but I like what I see here.
