Having defeated an incursion of vicious Crusaders, Turok seeks out the great mound city where his cursed parents rest for eternity. Overall I enjoy this volume 2 better than the first one. I grew up with N64 Turok so in the begining I was surprised with the new direction they went with, but this is starting to grow on me. Turok with Knights Templars was odd at first but I can handle it. Now he is dealing with Mongols...I think I prefer this more.

Now into Volume 2, and proving to be a welcome read. Turok has gone back to his comic-book roots, and here he shines once again. At once reminded of the classic, while definitely forging its own path. Consider it a reboot of the franchise, one clearly without the marks of Touchstone upon it. Turok tames (mostly) one of the 'honkers and falls in love with a girl that turns out to be on the opposite side of a new-found conflict against overwhelming odds.

Artwork is stellar all the way through, the storytelling sublime. Proof-positive that it don't have to say Marvel on the cover to be a great read.

Well, Templars in this universe? I really liked the way the story unfolds on the 1st issue, and here is the continuation… mixing Templar, the Mongols, and Dinosaurs feels good. You need to buy this if you bought the 1st issue of this reboot!

Turok heads west to find where his parents came from. He discovers the Cahokia Mounds and must defend its people against Genghis Khan. The art is a little cartoony for the amount of violence within. Probably would have made more sense if the Aztec or Mayan civilization had made its way north as opposed to the Mongols, a desert people, crossed the Pacific ocean.

This graphic novel series mixes Ghengis Khan with dinosaurs and indigenous riding mammoths. Freaking love it. Good art and fun story line

Dinosaurs, Native Americans, the Inquisition, AND Mongols? This is the everything bagel of adventure comic books. It's like Elfquest meets Land of the Lost and I dig it.

Pretty much what you can expect from the headline. Was a nice, short Story.
Some of my pages weren't cut probably (some stuck togehter on the lower end of the page) but I think that was an exeption. If you like Turok, give it a try.
