So this ending book is going to get a lot of hate, but it's the same quality as the rest of the series. In fact, I'll go so far as to say it's the best and most important book in the series; you could skip the other two books and just read this final and third book and you'd get a recap, the entire plot, and the (somewhat cheap ending) (At least it wasn't "all just a dream".)
I hope someone else does the 'grimdark pokemon' schtick later, but this was interesting enough for now. I don't feel my time was wasted, or my money, but I won't be rereading it.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

I picked up the first volume of this series from Barnes 'n Nobles and enjoyed it immensely! The idea of "murderous pokemon" was the main reason why I was drawn to this series and I honestly wasn't disappointed. The designs of the creatures are very interesting, especially their evolutions. The kids, for the most part, we're average when it came to character development. But, the ending was very disappointing and I honestly couldn't see the logic in it either. I would've really liked to see more of this series. If you like pokemon and horror this is an okay read.

Man, the ending was stupid.
