I recommend for any fun of military sci fi. It is a great way of translating the literary work of jack Campbell’s the lost fleet to a visual form.

The continuing unfoldment of Michael Geary’s escape from the Syndicate Worlds is great to read. I only wish we could get more in one volume, but that’s the nature of this medium, and Campbell is surely busy with other projects I’m eager to see.

Like all of Jack Campbell's output- just don't like long series- which he is wont to do.

Though I'm not completely sold on the whole graphic novel thing I'm still drawn to Campbell's stories again and again.

1.0 out of 5 stars This brilliant story deserves to be in book format and not under told with a limited graphic comic format.

I am a huge fan of the authors Black Jack universe and I look forward to every instalment with great anticipation. However, I chose to ignore this offering for a long time as I am not a fan of Graphic comics. Eventually my desire to learn what happened to Michael Geary proved to great and I gave in a bought the entire Corsair series on Kindle. That was a big mistake as much of the format is nearly unreadable on Kindle. Also, my dislike for the graphic comic format was strongly validated and I will never buy another.

I am not faulting the artist, who is excellent, and the story line concept is brilliant and where it ended points to great things to come and fills me with excited anticipation: as long as it doesn't arrive in the format of another graphic comic series.

I personally feel that the author delivered a big kick in the teeth to loyal fans like myself by telling this story only through graphic comic format. Had he written a parallel novel telling the same story then I would have no issues and I would be issuing 5 stars for it. Should the author decide to novelise this story then I will definitely buy the book despite already knowing the story. As I said, the story concept is brilliant and ends with a promise of so much more to come. It deserves a book that I can add to my bookshelves with pride.

Hopefully this is the authors last foray into graphic comics with the Black Jack story. Should he continue, then this is one fan he will be parting company with.

I really like the 'Lost Fleet Series' so when I spotted the new book I immediately clicked 'buy'.
But imagine what was my surprise when in my Kindle instead of the book I've found some sh...ty comic stuff.
