About the author

Joshua Williamson is a New York Times bestselling author who resides in Portland, Oregon. Joshua has written for nearly every comic publisher with creator owned works such as Ghosted, Birthright and Nailbiter. One of the pillars of the modern DC Universe, with an iconic run on the Flash, the longest any writer had spinning out of the DC Rebirth initiative, his role as one of the architects of both Death Metal and Infinite Frontier, Josh has cemented his reputation with fans as one of the best voices at DC. But his heart will always be with creator owned comics and building new worlds.

The Flash #9 "The Flash of Two Worlds"
*This is a great jumping on point as this book is the beginning of a new story arc. This book may have ramifications of the larger DC Universe.*
Writer: Joshua Williamson
Artist: Jorge Corona
Plot: It is finally time for the two Wally Wests to meet. However, after they interact, the Flash is affected by the Speed Force in a mysterious way. What are the meanings of Flash's visions and can the two Wallys help Barry deal with the mysterious visions?
Wallace West and Wally West finally meet, and Barry also reveals that Daniel West is really Wallace's dad and not his uncle, and it was his dad that became the Reverse-Flash. It seems the Speed Force is behaving very violently and changing Flash's personality. This book raises many questions probably to set up for the upcoming issues and I am hoping the next story arc won't drag on as the previous story arc dragged on for.
Corona is not Di Giandomenico, but he has a very similar frenetic style that fits well this comic. For the more dramatic parts he has a more lighter touch, whereas the action scenes have more energy and weight. The best thing about this book is watching Barry interact with Wallace, Wallace interact with Wally, and Barry interact with Wally in one on one conversations as they show how different each of the relationships are. It seems Williamson has mapped out each of the characters motives and there is a promise that great stories will come out of these three complex characters.' Also, there is a cool reveal at the end, that will get Flash fans excited about upcoming issues. '
