It can be a bit wordy at times but it's good. You just have to be patient. I always love when books use the classic villains in the story so I am happy with this book.

The first volume of "The Flash" was ok. Didn't really get into it until later on when the Flash takes on Captain Cold. That's where it got really interesting. I enjoyed it and that's really what carried the book for me. That's the stuff I really wanted to read about. Then I found out about "The Flash. Vol. 2 Rouges Revolution." I wanted it. I got it, and read it. Was not disappointed. I saw a bunch of super power action and I also got to see Gorilla Grood. Which was neat. I was never a huge fan of the flash but this book really changed that. I look forward to reading more about the Flash

I love the Flash and I've enjoyed the series so far and look forward to finish the New 52 soon. It is good to learn more of his galley of villains with beautiful artwork. There is a lot going on but I was able to keep up as I continue to read and I hope others will enjoy it as well. I hope to see more animated work with Flash in it such as shows or movies (I like DC more in the animated world than live-action).

The reason I gave this a higher rating than volume one is because it is a perfect sequel to volume one in regards to the story's continuity. Other than that it is a good read with plot twists and cliff hangers that keep you reading. After reading this volume I can say that I am officially hooked and will keep reading to the end. However, do not read this unless you have read volume one as the story will make less sense.

I read this comic thinking it would end here. But, it later explains Barry Allen's background. I am very excited to see what happens in the next comic book.

I really liked this, but there was a plot point that sort of was never addressed later on but was early on annoyed me. The characters even act like that plot point never happened...I was really confused. Hopefully they'll tell me in vol 3 but if so that's a long wait to make me confused :(

Other than that, I really liked this. I was geeking out with the updated Gorilla Grodd plot line at the very beginning and can't wait to see it come to fruition in vol 3! The rogues are shown in a manner I thought was really good, and we even get a backstory on their updated powers which was nice, but ultimately I felt like this book was achieving so much and cramming multiple plot points and foreshadowing and setup that it ultimately felt like a mess by the end with my brain going "wait a minute what happened to this in issue # but it wasn't addressed here, or there, and why is Barry acting like that instead of this??" It was a mixed, yet enjoyable bag for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Flash Vol. 2: Rogues Revolution
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 1, 2023
Prompted by Dr. Darwin Elias, Leonard Smart encourages the Rogues to use a genome recoding device to incorporate their weapons into their DNA, making them super powered, with unforeseen consequences.

The relaunch of 'The Flash' continues well, developing the hero nd the villains to make things, as acknowledged in the text, a bit less "black and white" and a bit more "shades of grey". The framing and colouring of the book is innovative and adds an extra dimension to the text.

The story is not as great as part one. It felt like a drag though. Art was fine and maybe you need to read it in order to complete and understand the order for the next book.
