My favorite kind of harlequin novel comic. Lots of drama and a steady paced plot. Usually things blow up and get settled quickly in a rushed manner but this one felt smooth. I really enjoyed it and have reread it many times. :)

The book wasn't bad, it was awesome. I like how she hide her feelings from him, but in some way u (readers) could see them right in front of Carmon. Why couldn't be see that too??? Like how the author didn't gives us clues that he like naddie. Until the end which was cool. And maybe bad for some fans.!?

I hate reading books with issues that could be cleared up simply through communication. I'm not saying that Nadine, the heroine should have professed her love to the H just after his wife's death but she could have said something later. She came across as cold and it's only because we saw her inner thoughts that we knew she loved him. I hate it when either characters are cold and detached as it diminishes the chemistry between the characters. Oh and she cried too much. I know pregnancy can make a lady emotional this this was too much. I didn't really like the book.

The unique subject of surrogacy was what piqued my curiosity about this book; seeing that the mangaka was Michiko Soh sealed the deal. Kudos to Elizabeth Power for weaving such a controversial topic into a story that was surprisingly romantic! Magnificent artwork and exceptional adaptation by Ms. Soh.
