Superman/Batman starts out fantastic, with writing from Jeph Loeb and a clear thread through his issues of the book (collected in the first two volumes of this series). As the series continued, the writing quality started to vary somewhat and overarching plots gave way to support issues for larger events happening outside the series. This is clearly evident by this sixth volume and while there is some good writing and art in this book, it isn't a particularly compelling read. I would recommend it only to completionists, though even in that there is frustration because the seventh volume was never released.

So many times I buy books on amazon that say they're either new or very good quality and I find I got straight up lied to. If you're trying to get books in good to near mint condition, don't get them from amazon. The quality control is a gamble.
