This much-anticipated meeting of the sons of Superman and Batman definitely lived up to its' pre-release hype. I enjoyed the story's opening scenes of Jon at school, which give readers a better chance to know this new character. Even better, Robin's baiting of the new Superboy later in the issue indicates he knows more about Jon than Jon's parents know about their son. The two kids know how to tangle, but can they learn to play nice before the debut of their team-up title? I can't wait to find out.

When I first found out about this issue I really wasn't all that hyped for it, I like Jon and damian just fine but I'm not all that invested in them (the only reason why I'm reading superman is because I want to know everything that is going on in every title) but I was actually really surprised at how much I enjoyed it and found some of Damian's comments funny, however I did find damian really annoying in this issue, usually I don't, was glad to see Maya (nobody) pop up again, if you read robin: son of batman by Patrick gleason then you will remember her, overall great issue and can wait for the next one.
