A charismatic cult leader brings about the end of the world using heavy metal music. Marcus Perry is the leader of "The Ambient", a new religious sect that grows quickly over several months and gains national news attention for a variety of mysterious deaths and suspicious activities. The group stages a live event with hundreds of thousands of participants and national news coverage where their leader, Perry, reveals his hidden nature and turns the audience into mindless zombies bringing about the end of the world.
