Dru is a high school senior who dreams of being a superhero. She sometimes makes me roll my eyes (I think she suffers from more than delusions of grandeur) but most teens do. she has a good heart though and I'm interested in seeing where her antics lead her

The team of Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner, along with Rafael de Latorre, Marcelo Maiolo, and John J. Hill, tell the story of Drusilla Dragowski, a teenager with dreams of being one thing: a ”superhero.” It’s funny, quirky, but unfortunately it did not warrant me to want to pick up a second copy. It seemed like the story was going nowhere, and it just seemed like a story of a teenager living in her ”dream world.”
Typically, Palmiotti and Conner work great together, but this book fell flat. Maybe it picks up in later issues, but if I cannot make it through the first issue wanting more, then it just isn't worth continuing.
Sorry guys. Maybe next time.

The writing seemed a bit excessive at first but this is a character who spends most of her time in her head, so the monologues begin to make sense. A bit of a slow start but I quickly grew to like it. I am looking forward to reading more of the series.
