Jody Houser decided she wanted to be a writer at eight years old and never looked back. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing at Emerson College, where she completed her master's thesis in screenwriting and was a winner of the Rod Parker Fellowship for Playwriting.

Like with Qui Gon Jin, I'm happy to see the character Jango Fett get better developed in the new Marvel Star Wars canon. True, it's not a complex story nor something that hasn't been told before. It is done very well though, being tightly paced and well focused. It explores the relationship between Jango and his son Boba as he introduces him to the world of Bounty Hunting. Jody Houser does a fantastic job showing us why Jango Fett has such a feared and respected reputation in his field. It only goes into as much backstory as it needs to when concerning the actions that went on behind the scenes of the Prequel Films. Additionally, it does great with early Boba Fett as well, on par with the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV cartoon. Luke Ross as the artist really keeps everything together. His work isn't stylized like some artists, instead just being the best of the basic style. This was absolutely worth buying. I love the Bounty Hunter world in Star Wars and this did not disappoint.
