Sea of Red #10

1863: The American Civil War enters its second year. Union soldiers have overtaken Fort Jackson Louisiana and begun the outright slaughter of confederate troops. Questioning their purpose, six war weary confederate soldiers desert their posts, retreating to a seemingly abandoned plantation deep in the bayou. Once boarded up inside and surrounded by Union troops the men discover they are not alone. Starving and near death, vampire Lesser Blackthroat resides within.
