About the authors
An Englishman residing in Las Vegas, I am a writer of comic books and graphic novels. And a couple of films. My most noted comics work is Starman for DC Comics, currently being collected in the New York Times best selling series of six Starman Omnibuses. I now work for Marvel Comics, a tenure that began with (now collected) runs on Fantastic Four and All-New Invaders. I am currently writing Scarlet Witch and Squadron Supreme.
In my spare time I tend to waste it.
Marguerite Sauvage is an illustrator and writer working for comics and animation.
She's currently working as an artist for DC, Marvel and other publishers. She's been nominated for Eisner, GLAAD and Russ Manning awards. Her work has been selected over many years by the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration and Spectrum.
She has also worked as a writer for Faith Christmas Special and, under the name Mady Martin, for French publishers such as Dupuis, Delcourt, Jungle and Casterman.
She has created for TV the animated series "Cultural Quest with Mister Otter" (Les aventures culturelles de Monsieur Loutre) that has been broadcasted in various countries.

Although the art changes throughout each book in the graphic novel it does not really take away from the story. The most emotional story in this volume is the conversation between Wanda and her brother Pietro aka Quicksilver. I loved their interaction with each other.
What does break the flow of the story is how much time seems to have passed between each book. In fact the last story in volume 2 kinda threw me because Wanda is not in it but we read about a character she met in the second to last story.
For someone like me who has not read any of the previous story arc of Marvel, like Civil War or House of M. I feel I am missing some important story lines but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying this series. It only makes we want to go back and read the previous tales.
