Reading threw this was almost as horrible as pulling out my own teeth. I Watched Characters that where well developed in the first 3 volumes be portrayed as if the first 3 books where not even written. The story felt even more rushed then Volume 4 and the art style seems to be even lazier then that that in Volume 4 ( which was pretty trash to begin with, if i'm being honest here) The book all together is a mess compared to what it could be... An i hate saying that because i really loved Volume 1-3 and hate to seen this devolve into the dumpster fire it is now. Volume 6 is out but at $20 with no reviews i'm afraid of waisting my money on even sloppier writing and even sloppier art. Don't waist your money on this Volume or volume 4 the book should have been left alone after volume 3.

Acurdi does an awesome job with Rumble. The story is still very strong...but Rubins art while fun and different...is lacking...mostly in pacing and reveals...its clunky and the action shots aren't there...for an epic story like this the art just doesnt line up for me...still a very strong story but I'm big on Art and Story working in unison...and for me it doesn't

2.0 out of 5 stars What the Hell happened to this series?!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 30, 2023
Like others have said this series started off really strong; great story telling, good character development and cool well laid out artwork. Then after vol 3 it took a nose dive I'm afraid, I stopped caring what happened halfway through this volume, the artwork didn't fit and was too cartoony and loose, I gave up and reread an old Hellboy. I'm sorry, I hate writing poopy reviews for comics as I know they're a lot of work.
