Resist, Vol. 1

In the 1950s, humans built robots to help them with everyday activities and for friendship. A boy named Junior built a robot he named Junk; as Junior raised Junk, they became the closest and best of friends. However, as Junior grew older, he became abrasive and rebellious - Junk became nothing more than a tool through which Junior could perpetuate his ugly acts. Eventually, Junior's power and status grew; he eventually became the Count, with his brother Katz and Junk becoming his right-hand men and his terrifying enforcers: the Blue Hoods. All the while, Junk watched as his fellow robots were committing the same dirty deeds he was obligated to and realizes he no longer has faith in what he's doing and has done his entire existence. He can no longer be a slave to man.
