About the Author

Writers Corinna Sara Bechko and Gabriel Hardman began their professional collaboration with the 2009 original graphic novel, Heathentown, which Bechko wrote and Hardman illustrated. Since then, the couple has co-written several collaborations as co-writers including BETRAYAL OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and EXILE ON THE PLANET OF THE APES. In addition to being a writer, Bechko works as a zoologist. Hardman is a successful comic artist working regularly for Marvel Comics as well as a storyboard artist for films including INCEPTION and DARK KNIGHT RISES.

Corinna Bechko is a Hugo- and Eisner-nominated New York Times best-selling author. Her work includes Invisible Republic, Star Wars: Legacy, Savage Hulk, Angel, Once Upon a Time, Court of the Dead, Green Lantern: Earth One, and The Expanse.

In addition to comics she writes prose and science-based books for young readers, including Smithsonian Dig it: Dinosaurs and Smithsonian 1000 Super Space Facts.

Corinna lives in Los Angeles where she works with dinosaurs and rescues parrots.

I guess I'm not a "purest" . Although I own all the original films and the live action 70's television program . So be it , because I'm here to tell you that this a marvelous introductory volume (#1) in this three volume , twelve issue graphic novel saga is terrific . Everything's above average from my perspective . Great story and art with a grand reveal or two . Feel blessed that this volume is affordable once again (obtainium) . Excellent start .
