Peter Parker/Spider-Man has been mostly absent from the main events of Spider-Geddon. His main impact thus far being this story arc in the second current Spider-Man title being his only tie-in. The premise of the story is that Morlun of The Inheritors seeks vengeance on Spider-Man once more. The last issue was only okay at best, and had a real pacing issue. This issue however really fixes that. Peter gets some help against the relentless Morlun from Miles Morales/Spider-Man, and Sean Ryan writes both of them well. The whole comic gets a chance to slow down and breathe, giving the action more meaning. It all looks great too, Juan Frigeri delivers some solid art. The only problem with the comic is one that's been showing up throughout the entirety of Spider-Geddon. The events of this comic are directly referenced in Spider-Geddon #3. The problem is that that comic was released a released a week ago, and it spoils most of what happens in this issue. It's not really fair to base my judgement of this comic on that, but nonetheless It's worth mentioning. This arc has improved a lot, and I'm looking forward to the next issue.
