About the author
Eiichiro Oda began his manga career in 1992 at the age of 17, when his one-shot cowboy manga Wanted! won second place in the coveted Tezuka manga awards. Oda went on to work as an assistant to some of the biggest manga artists in the industry, including Nobuhiro Watsuki, before winning the Hop Step Award for new artists. His pirate adventure One Piece, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1997, quickly became one of the most popular manga in Japan.

In this volume, the Straw Hat crew faces formidable foes and navigates through a myriad of challenges in their quest to liberate the citizens of Dressrosa. Oda's artistic brilliance captivates the imagination, bringing to life the diverse cast of characters and the vibrant world of One Piece. The character development in this volume is truly remarkable, as we see the crew members grow stronger and forge unbreakable bonds of friendship. Vol. 79 also introduces intriguing new allies and adversaries, making the narrative even more compelling. This volume is a testament to why One Piece remains one of the greatest manga series of all time, and it left me eagerly anticipating the next chapter in this epic saga. For any fan of adventure, camaraderie, and epic storytelling, One Piece, Vol. 79, is an absolute must-read that will leave you breathless and hungry for more.
I kept wishing and hoping and praying they would make Doffy an end game antagonist, and somewhere deep down, I still think he will be, but now we know, or at least, have some understanding of the hierarchy of power here.
I suggest you subscribe to Mangastream keep yourself up to date with One Piece because rereading this, we are SO far away from the late 700 chapters and SO much has happened. Also, I'd say subscribe to Sawyer7mage for quality reviews on the ongoing manga.
Thanks, guys!
