As a fellow Marine myself it annoys me a little that this English version tells no distinction between Navy and the Marines (they are correct in Japanese version though), but I guess that's just the translators do not know the differences between the Navy Admiral and Marine General (O-10), Navy Captain and Marine {Full] Colonel (O-6), Navy Lieutenant Commander and Marine [Captain] Major (O-4), or Navy Ensign and Marine 2nd Lieutenant (O-1).

Despite these minor issues, as I've said many times already, this series tells a lot of useful lessons while it's super fun to read all night long.

Bon Clay: ...That's a living corpse! I'm begging you, don't let him suffer like that. You have to do something, please! Unlock those chains, stop the bleeding, and I wanna see a real way to cure him! You're the "Miracle Worker," aren't you?!

Emporio Ivankov: Shut the hell up! I'm helping him the only way I can... Don't underestimate the Human will to live. Do you have any idea what it takes to thrive on one's own mortality to face the ultimate odds? I'm not god or angel or anything like that! A Miracle Worker? You can call me whatever the hell you want, but the truth of the matter is this. I can never save a fool who does not have will to save himself. I saved an impoverished country, a country that was left in ruin after a devastating defeat in war. But all I did was to draw out their own spirits to live! That can only happen to people who have courage to keep on fighting! Making miracles is never easy!

One Piece ist für mich der beste Manga, ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen. Die englische Übersetzung finde ich bei allen Mangas deutlich besser und angenehmer zu lesen.
