Top review from the United States

OK, I'll start. First things first, I may be a little biased. I write and draw this book.

It's a creator-owned, indie, love letter to everything I loved about growing up in the 80's and 90's. All the tv, cartoons, comics, martial arts movies, magazines, music, books, and video games that made me dream dreams and wish for more adventure. I read a lot of manga, I watch a lot of anime, and I watch a lot of martial arts movies.

If you like TMNT, Kevin Eastman, Tank Girl, Jim Mahfood, Frank Miller, Indie Comics, Martial Arts, Ninjas, or Robots, then THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU.

It's edgy, and quirky, and full of (what I believe to be) unique ideas and unusual content. The art is loose and sketchy, full of energy. It's a little raw, a little unpolished, and definitely not perfect, but it's honest. I try to capture a feeling more than a perfect line. There is a lot of action. There are some deep ideas, but it's not meant to be taken too seriously. There is a lot of me, in this series. It's a very personal expression of ideas and philosophy. It's a BIG imaginative story about made up characters that I have come to know and love. Characters that are dead set on finding their own destiny and living out their own lives within the overall context of my story. Mostly though, THIS is the kind of comic that I wanted when I was a kid. Actually, I wished someone would make something like this my whole life. I got tired of waiting for someone else to make it and I decided to make it myself. I think the younger me would be proud of what I'm doing now. I want this to be exciting and interesting for YOU too. I have a lot of fun writing and drawing this, it's my hope that people will also have tons of fun reading it.

Why not give it a try? Thanks in advance for giving Ninjas & Robots a chance.
