It would be nice to see what she could do with a series where nobody treated being a lesbian as a bad thing and instead say every girl in the all girl school and even the teachers were either apathetic to the whole thing or actively say in love with one particular student.
Instead a story that could have been about a girl stealing another girl from her boyfriend segued into a bunch of emotional trauma that took up way too much of a relatively short series. That sort f thing's fine if you've got the room to expand upon it, but the whole thing seemed a bit rushed and way too much attention was paid to other people's disapproval rather than their being in love or even lust.
---C.D. Overstreet author of "The Complete Lesbian Storybook" and "That's How I Heard It Anyway".
The creator of this story, in my opinion, has made some huge errors. She's depicted the 4 main characters in the same naive, "after-school special" style through the first 5 1/2 volumes of the story. Then in the last half of the final volume she's intoduced, OUT OF THE BLUE, some very adult and thought provoking themes. The entire composition would have been far better served by the periodical introduction of some of the back story. The last half of this book literally changes 3 of the 4 characters COMPLETELY! It really fixed the story to be honest but I think it happened too late to matter.
