Someone is pretending to be captain marvel, and is hunting members of his church. This issue was a welcome change from the previous storyline of war of the marvels which started sting but kind of petered out with all the talking and two Danvers issues. This arc feels much more focused. Carol is after mystique, and mystique is after Carol. Two supporting characters from a previous arc are also back, which was nice. Now we only.need machine man, and all will be well. This is an even issue, so the art is great, but per tradition I will complain about the constant fill in artists on the odd issues.
