The Reigen spinoff is a sequel to the original manga, taking place some time after the ending, and pretty much the “true”, more conclusive end to the series. I don’t know why dark horse decided to translate it so early, and it doesn’t directly “spoil” the original ending but you’d be cheating yourself out of the true ending if you were to read it without completing the original manga... It’ll hit so much differently if you read it after, trust me....</3
That being said, it is a fantastic read, and gives closure to the series. The only nitpick I have is with the translation. WHY do they insist on calling them “superhumans” with “superpowers” rather than psychics/espers with psychic powers?? They changed up the translation for Blood Blockade Battlefront a few volumes in and I don’t see why they can’t do that for Mob too. But I digress. I remember when this was announced some time after the manga ended and feeling such joy... Which I feel again, now, rereading it in physical form :) Reigen’s antics never get old. Love Tome too. And Serizawa.... and everyone :] Miss this series so much... Hope we get another spinoff someday.......

As far as packaging there was no protection as far as bubblewrapping or even a wrap around the book. The manga was thrown alongside another part in a brown shipping bag no bubblewrap (I also ordered automotive suspension parts that came along, it could've ended badly but fortunately didn't and I'm in the minority of buying two radically different products).The book/manga came intact. No bends, tears or scratches. Despite my concern in the packaging, I am satisfied.

Great condition when arriving! Reliable seller!
The missing star for the 5 star is for the fact that the story is more about Tome - and Reigens influence on her - so i guess it does sorta revolve around him in that sense, just to be fair.
But it's mostly follows Tome and some other characters.
I was hoping for more peeks at his cons - cause those are always so funny to see him work around, but it still has a lot of GOOD dialog and word-of-advice from him, so thats always a plus to see come from his characters -- he's a very down to earth kinda guy, its always charming to see that -- Again, theres only like one to 2 scenes of that really, wish there was more !
I'd still reccomend it tho !
