Mirenda Vol. 1 Kindle & comiXology
When a jungle-dwelling woman gets a mysterious demon trapped in her leg, she sets off on an extraordinary adventure to get it out. Artist/writer GRIM WILKINS (PROPHET: EARTH WAR) plays with the possibilities of comic storytelling, letting the visuals carry the weight. Originally appearing in ISLAND magazine, MIRENDA picks up the gauntlet left by the works of Moebius and Frazetta and runs with it. Collects MIRENDA #1-5

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

A joy to "read"/look at

Such wonderful pictures! I was absolutely delighted by the colours, the associative storytelling (almost without any text!), the character design and the masterfully executed picture dynamics. Although it took me just 1,5 hours, I feel like there was such depth in the (very unique) characters as well as the (quite complex) story arch and the symbolism. Now I cannot wait to read it again, it feels like a recently nearly-forgotton dream. Delightful piece of art! I own a lot of comics/graphic novels, but this one stands out as a very peculiar and original one.

incomprehensible mess

I bought this as I liked the artist's work on the "prophet" comic by brandom graham.I saw some review pages and liked the art but I was very disappointed by the book itself.I kept finding myself wondering what was going on until very end of book. For example the book starts as the girl comes out of a wood to see a giant figure walking away. She runs, leaps, twists and grabs a blue flower from a long tendril. It is not clear if flower was growing on the giant or just in a tree. The whole book is like this. The artist doesn't portray what is happening so other people can see what he means. They used to have editors whose job it was to point this out to creators.
