MATT HUYNH is a Sydney born artist informed by sumi-e, shodo and comic books. His gestural brush and ink illustrations have been commissioned by the New York Times, Esquire, Men's Health, Bloomberg Business Week, Rolling Stone, Adobe, DDB, and Clemenger BBDO. Creative Sydney Festival named him one of Sydney's most innovative cultural contributors for his documentary graphic novel CAB, telling true stories from his childhood hometown. His work appears in MoMA's permanent collection and his comics have been presented on the Sydney Opera House stage. Huynh writes and draws from a converted Eberhard Faber pencil factory in Brooklyn, NY.
