The story is derailed a bit by the arrival of her elderly grandfather who has Alzheimer's and his caregivers Roy and Frank.
*SPOILER ALERT*
This is actually the third Harlequin manga which features the subplot of an elderly parent dying and bringing the two main characters together. Enough already. Death is neither romantic nor entertaining to watch.
END SPOILER
Suspicion abounds in Angela/Vittorio relationship. Is he after her merely to get the estate back?
Overall, I liked Angela/Vittorio as characters. The art was really well done, and I cared about what happened and their relationship. I applauded the gay sub characters Roy and Frank, although it would've been nice to actually see a picture or two of them as they are firmly background characters.
