Got what I was looking for.

Even though I love the newly rebooted version of Lara Croft, I still have an affinity for the original dual pistol-wielding heroine. Therefore, I am glad to see that Dark Horse is publishing comics based on classic Lara (specifically the version of the character from  Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light [Download ] and  Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris ). The story is not the greatest but it is still fun to follow Lara on her wild, Indiana Jones-style escapades to hunt down artifacts and save the world. The art is also gorgeous and is very similar to the original Top Cow comics unlike the more minimalist and modernist art in Dark Horse's Tomb Raider comics.

This is a really fun Lara read taking place in an alternate continuity within the first iteration of the character. I love both the new and the old Lara so I really had a lot of fun diving into this book. Good art and a nicely told story. It's great that we can enjoy the new Lara and still go back and have a grand adventure with the first imagining of the character. If you are following her rebooted adventures just be aware that this is not a story featuring that Lara. If you have been a fan from the first Tomb Raider you will most likely have blast with this book.

Lara Croft and the Frozen Omen takes place before the console game, Tomb Raider,
which came out a few years ago. It is a great book to read, and the artists have done
an amazing job in putting this book together!!! A must buy!!!

Lara Croft is back! And feels a little more classic!

I like Lara Croft adventures. I have a lot of the old (1990's) comics so when I read the reviews on this I took a chance. The story is good, but the art, well, leaves something to be desired. Some is pretty good, but a lot of the panels look like chalk drawings with very little detail. Compared to the older art, it was disappointing. Overall it was okay.

This book captures the spirit of the old Tomb raider comics which I’d recommend reading, and the modern storylines and art even though the art is sub par and does not necessarily renders the same kind of quality the old books had but this book has a story better than the reboot comics that we are currently getting The only disappointing part about this is that it was a short run I’d rather see more stories of this version of tomb raider because it felt like the old comics but in the modern take

Atlantic Publishers did a great job of delivering this. Excellent art work in the comic. It has all the issues of The Frozen Omen! I love looking at Lara's outfits, they are great to cosplay!
