The author has pretty artwork that's expressive. The execution of the premise is unique and worthwhile. Not a one-dimensional story of romance but more like real people with real problems.
Adult freedom comes with responsibilities but everything else is a free-for-all. This manga series explores characters, their relationships and goes into the messy glory eatshit mindsets that people have. No one is 100% good nor bad but just the inbetween that passes for allowable.
There is nothing interesting about the female lead, and the male lead doesn't even have the decency to be cute. I hate pushover main characters, and oh boy if the leading lady isn't one of them. So the male lead can only, uh, stand at attention for her? So what?? Why do I care?
Answer, dear reader -- I do not. If his dough never rises, it doesn't matter to me. The fate of the world does not depend on his elevator going to the top. And he's not interesting nor likeable enough for me to care about the plight of his little friend.
Also, the artwork is a little rough, though usually fine.
I do not recommend this, unless you think the plight of a man's failure to lift is the most fascinating of dilemmas.
