I've been extremely lucky in my life and got the opportunity to make the thing I love to do into a career. You just really can't ask for more than that. I grew up, caused chaos, fell in love and graduated high school in Northeast Ohio. I then pulled up stakes and moved to Dover, New Jersey for formal training in illustration/design/narrative art at the Joe Kubert School. I was fortunate enough to be trained directly by the comic book legend himself, Joe Kubert.
After my graduation in 1996, I returned to Ohio and married my beautiful wife and immersed myself into the children's publishing field. Over the next twenty years, I had the pleasure of illustrating for a multitude of publishers including McGraw-Hill Children's Publishing, Tribune Publishing, School Specialty Publishing, Landoll's Children's Publishing and Carson-Dellosa Publishing.
Along this path, I traveled I also have been able to dabble in many other illustration fields. I have created images for the internet, movies, and production concept art, just to name a few.
I currently reside in Ohio with my wife, Angie, and our three children. When my evenings are not chocked full of my kids' piles of homework and busy social lives, I enjoy taking cross country trips on my motorcycle with a national riding club. I've also been indulging my passion for narrative art in the form of my independent comic book.
The Lost Dogs MC, a story that spans the generations of a motorcycle club formed in the ashes of the apocalypse. The members of the Lost Dogs MC fight to survive as the trumpets of judgment sound and the dead rise. The Apocalypse is upon them, and it will stop at nothing to bring them low.
