Born in Southern California and raised in South Florida, John Ulloa started collecting comic books at an early age, eventually amassing a huge collection of coveted titles. His interest in comics and graphic art-and his talent for concocting fantastic stories-led to the creation of his own publishing label High Impact Comics, whose Double Impact series took the comic book world by storm, grossing several million dollars for the nascent company. Later he launched Bulletproof Comics, working with Lo-Fi Magazine luminary Greg Narvasa and several other of Miami's finest artists. His writing credits include the aforementioned 'Double Impact', 'Forgive Me Father', 'The Gun', 'Reservoir Bats', and 'Ravenous'. A long-time Dungeon & Dragons player and Dungeon Master, John's stories probe the darkness and impulsion of everyday man and his fight to resist their seduction.
