Really enjoyed both the art and storyline in this series. The characters were well developed, the flow of the story along with the frame story were entertaining, and I had a hard time putting it down. Not usually a fan of comics on the Kindle, but this one really worked well.

Absolutely amazing art makes this sci-fi book stand out for me. The story right now feels just a little too generic to warrant five stars, but it's handled well. Basically, what you have is a revolution taking place on another planet ... and some kind of conspiracy behind the "official" story. It's drawn out well using the investigative reporter trope, and the characters are well done. Great art helps move it along, and I'll definitely pick up the next copy.

This is a really great political thriller in graphic novel form ! A collapsed 'strong man' government, a disgraced reporter, a secret diary from the past and the politics of struggling colony worlds. I enjoyed the style of storytelling and found it clever and imaginative. I thought the art and color work just perfectly for the story giving it overall a great feel. I will definitely read future volumes.

Political thriller in a sci-fi setting. Both genres I appreciate although I never fully engaged with the book. The story might improve in successive volumes.

You can really look at the art for a long time and still miss things the detail is amazing!
The story is great it reads like a really good novel. I love the idea that comic book company's now are making literary science fiction comic books.
The cover art is pretty amazing !!

When was the last time you read a smart, fast moving scifi comic about a mysteriously famous muckraker? Yes, it's as good as it sounds.

A great premise that is well set-up and fully realized in surprisingly quick fashion. And it's Hardman art so I don't need to spend time convincing you that it's great.

The story takes place on a moon of the planet Asan. Arthur McBride and Maia Reveron need to kill three soldiers to make good on their escape from a farm where they are indentured servants, but Maia leaves one of them alive, proving once again that you if you want someone dead, you need to kill them yourself. Arthur gets the blame, or the credit, for the killings and becomes the figurative leader of a revolution. Maia, meanwhile, takes advantage of her freedom by raising bees.

Forty-two years later, a reporter has stumbled upon some Maia’s writings that reveal the untold story of the recently deposed Malory regime on a planet where things have really gone to caca. Was McBride really a freedom fighter or was he just a psychopath? People who don’t want the truth told are willing to kill the reporter to assure that his investigation dies with him.

Invisible Republic is science fiction noir, a credible blend of political intrigue, conspiracy thriller, and suspense. The shadowy art enhances the noir sensibility. The volume collects 5 issues and makes me want to read 5 more.

This type of Sci Fi does not translate well to a graphic novel, although it originates as one here.

It just didn't grab my attention like other graphic novels in this genre.
