I can't say enough times how happy I am that Invader Zim was brought back. I absolutely love reading new installments of Zim's misadventures. He tries so hard but his plans always fail. Whether Dib thwarts his plans, Gir screws it up, our it's just a plan setup to fail. Zim can never seem to catch a break, but he persists. I think that's why I love Invader Zim so much, that and Gir.

Can't wait to read the next one.

This series is amazing, even if the cartoon was not cancelled it could never be as beautifully drawn as the comics. Bravo!

The humor is spot on! This comic kinda feels like a filler episode though.

Haven't read these comics yet but who doesn't love Zim in any form? I watch the animated cartoons over and over as part of my rotation of favourite cartoons. I found the Zim comic book in the stores just before our late great Silver Snail (Ottawa) went out of business (alas!) I do hope they come back at a new location, even if it is one I can not visit regularly because they provided a service not provided by the remaining outlets for comics, which was to provide a much more catholic and encyclopedic approach to comics. They did not just concentrate on what is called the "underwear pervert" school of comic book writing. They had the old classics and a much more varied stock. It is a shame we can't get more Zim but the comic book may be the first step in a popular recovery and might lead to new animated cartoons or the production of the existing scripts that were only at the voice-over stage when the series ended. These are very good but it would be nice to have moving pictures to go with the words.
