About the authors
SHANNON ERIC DENTON is a veteran storyteller and artist with credits at Cartoon Network, Warner Bros., Showtime, Jerry Bruckheimer Films, NBC, Disney, Sony, LEGO, Marvel Entertainment, FoxKids, Paramount, CBS, Dimension Films, DC Comics, Blizzard Entertainment, Riot Games and Nickelodeon.
He was a storyboard artist on the OSCAR NOMINATED feature Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and directed the original commercial animations for the movie and was also on the EMMY NOMINATED Ozzie & Drix. He has written for Cartoon Network, Marvel, Disney, Riot Games, DC and Warner Bros. and worked in live action on shows like Las Vegas, Ally McBeal, US of TARA and Con Man: The Series. In comics he’s drawn everything from Spawn to Star Wars to Deadpool to Superman. Shannon’s projects have been featured in ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY and PUBLISHERS WEEKLY.
Shannon has also worked in the games industry on titles such as God of War, Neo-Pets Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, Overwatch, Hearthstone, League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra and Valorant.
From 1995-1999 Shannon contributed to the design and development of almost every animated action adventure show produced by the Fox Kids Network, including X-Men, Spider-Man, Captain America, The Avengers, and the Annie Nominated Silver Surfer series, as well as doing comic work for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and Image. After 1999 he worked on a wide range of projects such as Osmosis Jones, Dan Dare, Danny Phantom, Teen Titans, He-Man, Teenage Ninja Turtles and more. Shannon was a writer and producer on the animated series WORLD OF QUEST for Warner Bros.
Shannon is featured in a section of the book Toon Art: The Graphic Art of Digital Cartooning and contributed to the cover art. In 2001, he won the Readers Choice Red Kryptonite Award for Favorite New Creator.
Shannon has taught at Los Angeles based Associates-in-Art as well as lectured at CalArts, Art Center College of Design, the Art Institute, University of Washington, Montserrat College, Pacific Northwest College of Art and Collins College.
Shannon is co-founder of the publishing company KOMIKWERKS, which previously partnered with AOL, comics legend Stan Lee and was a producer on the animated series The World of Quest. Komikwerks also launched a line of illustrated children’s action books under the ACTIONOPOLIS imprint.
He has worked for publishers Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Tokyopop, StormKing Productions, Titan, Mad Cave, Boom, AiT/Planet Lar, Lion Forge, IDW, Dynamite and Image Comics. Shannon was also nominated for the 27th, 28th and 29th Annual ComicBuyersGuide Fan Awards for Favorite Editor. His book GRUNTS: War Stories is also nominated for the 29th Annual ComicBuyersGuide Fan Awards for Favorite Graphic Novel. His book GRAVESLINGER was nominated for a 2010 Harvey Award. Shannon’s co-creation, FLESHDIGGER, was picked as an entrant in Image Comics/TopCow’s 2011 Pilot Season project and was featured on MTV. Shannon won the 2011 Shel Dorf Award for Editor Of The Year and was again nominated in 2012.

Adam Freeman is a writer, producer and stand-up comedian who works in multiple entertainment mediums: comic books/grahic novels, novels, unscripted television, scripted television and on comedy club stages around the country. Adam began his career with an 11-year stint at MTV where he produced such notable shows as Total Request Live, MTV New Year's Eve, Spring Break, 120 Minutes, Alternative Nation and more. Other career highlights include: Gene Simmons Family Jewels, Wild n' Out with Nick Cannon, The Chelsea Handler Show, Hatfields & McCoys, Texas Rising, Mama June, Marriage Boot Camp, Genius, X-Men, Monster Attack Network, The Highwaymen, The Authority, Batman and much more. He can be seen frequently at the Comedy Store in LA and at the Las Vegas and Reno Laugh Factories.
Kevin Grevioux is a director, screenwriter, producer, actor, and graphic novel creator who has over 20 years experience in the film industry. After graduating Howard University with a degree in microbiology, Grevioux came to Hollywood where he acted in several films including, Alien Nation, The Mask, Congo, Batman Forever, Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes, The Hulk and Men In Black II. Kevin also co-created and wrote the original screenplay to the successful Underworld franchise, which was his first produced writing credit. He was also a co-producer on the film series and played the character, Raze. Grevioux has just completed production on his latest film from a screenplay he wrote I, Frankenstein produced by Lakeshore Entertainment. It was based on his original graphic novel.
In addition, Grevioux is a prolific writer in the comic book/graphic novel world. He has worked for both Marvel and DC Comics having written such characters as Spider-Man, Blade, Iron Man, Batman, Superman, the Phantom and the critically acclaimed Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel for Marvel which he created.
He has established an independent creator-owned comic book/graphic novel company called Darkstorm Studios. Under this imprint Kevin has created ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction, I, Frankenstein, Darkstorm, Rise of the Djinn, Monstroids, Shurika, Skull & Guns, The Gray Men, Alius Rex and Battlesphere. As well as Astounding Comics, which produces all-ages titles such as Valkyries, Njuma, Cryptokids, Guardian Heroes, The Atoms Family, The Toy Box, Mighty Girls, The Vindicators and The Hammer Kid.
Grevioux’s animation credits include The Atoms Family and Monstroids, two unproduced pilots for Starz and Nickelodeon respectively, based on properties that he created and owns. As well as, episodes of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Mega Man: Fully Charged, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and Young Justice.
Grevioux’s directorial debut was the action film King of Killers, starring Frank Grillo and Alain Moussi. A feature he wrote and produced through his production company Channel 56 Films.
Lastly, Grevioux has started Mosaik video game company in conjunction with the German firm Pixable Studios, to bring his various IPs to video game life.
Rob M. Worley is the Eisner-nominated writer of the hit kids comic series "Scratch9." His first mainstream work was the Marvel/Epic minseries "Young Ancient One". He's since gone on to write over a dozen comics including the pulp horror graphic novel "The Revenant" as well as several junior novels such as the "Heir to Fire" series and "The Legend of Tigerfist".
Dwight L. MacPherson is a winner of the 2021 Poe Society of Baltimore's Saturday Visiter Award, and a nominee for a Harvey and Eagle Award in 2008. He is a prolific writer, editor, and publisher with published work at DC Comics, Image, IDW Publishing, Slave Labor Graphics, SelfMadeHero, Arcana Comics, and several others. MacPherson currently self-publishes his work through Hocus Pocus Comics which he and his wife founded in January 2017 on Edgar Allan Poe's 208th Birthday.
Born in Michigan and raised in Florida, MacPherson served 14 years in the Army and traveled the world before pursuing a career writing, editing, and publishing comic books and prose. He resides in a historic farmhouse in Florida with his wife, Rebecca, and their French Bulldog named Pip Copperpot MacPherson, Esq.
