A very short collection of stories

Genesis Heroes Rising is a very short collection of stories for the following characters: Death, Brittney Waters, Day of the Dead, Zamora (Oz) and Hellchild. Each story is about 5 pages long and very few of them setup anything important in their respective series. Because it's just a glimpse into the characters, the stories stay simple, sweet and are over before you can really get into them. I liked the one for Hellchild and Death (Keres). I'm just not sure I liked either story well enough to recommend buying this series. Yes, it's a dollar, but I doubt you'll ever go back and re-read any of these. It's too simple and not as thought out as the normal Zenescope one-shot. If you are a dedicated fan, tally ho, but this is an easy one that you can skip.
