About the Author

Her stories ranges from cute to action, but all done unparalled attention - the drawings are refined and the storylines bring the readers into what the characters feel. Her page layouts and camera angles varies a lot, and thus keeps the interest of the reader.

I love the series and it showed up on time and in great condition. No complaints because the series takes so long to find that individual books.

The first series that I ever completed!

I came across this series at an odd time in my life. I'm not going to say it changed my life but it was oddly satisfying. I usually read something with a mature rating, I didn't want a kiddy type plot or something intimately oriented-yet I only ever seemed to find those two extremes, nothing ever really fit my interests. Then there was this, it's a teen rating, a decent plot, nothing too rushed or cliche which was greatly appreciated. It didn't strike me as something that was aimed exclusively for boys or girls, I've lent my copies to guys and was certain they'd come back not liking it since it wasn't a harem, shoujo-ai etc but most, not all, said it was cooler than they'd expected and didn't disgust them with over feminizing themes such as love triangles and corniness. It's good, I've had it for years and I've recently had a daughter and it's one of the few mangas I wouldn't mind her reading, or reading to her depending on her own personal maturity. Anyway it's a bit of a lighthearted epic and a good buy, and an even better read.

I've bought the whole series second-hand but volume #10 and #11. It was actually cheaper to buy them new rather than finding a second hand copy. It's a bit weird: all the other copies have library stamps everywhere and needed to be de-tagged. Those two are pristine!

Anyway. I keep giving this series three stars but for me it's a positive rating. I mean, manga usually get lower ratings from me, especially when it comes to later volumes.

At the beginning I didn't like the art: it seems a bit too simple for my liking. I hope it would improve but I can't see any difference in volume #10.

I still like the story, even if there are new enemies and new co-protagonists.

There are only four volumes left...
