I've collected all Deadpool classic series throughout the years. I've seen some excellent writing (Joe Kelly) and some good writing too. Deadpool is a fascinating character, the anti-hero with a twisted sense of humor that loves to trow crazy lines when you least expect it. This specific issue by Gail Simone is not bad. There were some things that made me wonder how much character research went into account when this was written, just an easy example, it is common knowledge that Deadpool is fluent in German, Japanese and Spanish, well the guy is flying to Germany with his pal Ratbag and the flight attendant tells Deadpool, "Danke, dass sie mit uns geflogen sind!" to what Deadpool replies "I don't know what you just said but I'd pay good money to hear it again!".

The story is quite good, there are lots of fun and hilarious moments, the art is done quite well in my opinion. The story with "The Rhino" is one of my favorites it is just hilarious. You get 272 pages, half of those are Deadpool (1997) issues # 65 to 69, the rest are Agent X issues # 1 to 6. Agent X is alright as well, in my opinion Agent X adds to the story, there are some hilarious moments in it as well, the Task Master and other memorable characters will be there as well.

I just wished there was more Deadpool than Agent X in it. Enjoy it!

This book was really good. At least the Deadpool half was, anyway. The whole story arc with the Rhino was my favorite part. The other half of the book consisted of Agent X, and that half of the book was interesting. But it was not as good as the Deadpool half. Overall, I still recommend this book if you have read the Deadpool Classic series up to this point.

After taking some time away from the Merc with a Mouth, I'm glad to be back. Yet another good collection of stories with Deadpool, and we meet this new guy who may or may not be old Wade Wilson, plus the new character Outlaw. I wonder if everything will be set right in the next volume? (I'm pretty sure it does)

I won't give away anything away but if you like fast paced action, incredible depth in your writing, and laughing until you cry, you will love Gail Simone's take on Deadpool.

She is definitely by far my favorite writer for this comic series.

Although I think some of the jokes in the first comic are a bit forced, Gail Simone definitely takes hold of the Deadpool character and makes him his own. This whole book is amazing and hilarious and I would recommend it to anyone who likes some good ole Deadpool. Agent x is also really awesome.

Story: Deadpool 65-69 - 5/5 Agent X 1-6 - 3/5
Art: 5/5

I loved the Deadpool stories. I liked the Agent X stories as well but Agent X isn't really as appealing or as enthralling as Deadpool so kiss my fat blubber. The art, however, is wonderful even though the action sequences are a little awkward. Overall, this collection is happy fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Deadpool no more?

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best deadpool collections.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 11, 2014
As one of marvels biggest characters at the moment the market is flooded with many sub-par deadpool books. Mostly because they focus too heavily on the comedic goofball. The other half of his character is action, this book has both in spades. Accompanied by the always great artwork from UDON famous for their street fighter work. If you are unaware of udon, their art style is something of a cross between original manga and western comic drawing styles, the result is fantastic.

Must own for any deadpool fan. If you enjoyed the art pick up the taskmaster mini series. If you enjoyed the story pick cable and deadpool
