Story: Suicide Kings 4/5 | Games Of Death 3/5 | Holiday Special #2 3/5 | X-Men Origins 2/5 | 900 and 1000 2/5 to 3/5
Art: Suicide Kings 4/5 Games Of Death 3/5 | Holiday Special #2 3/5 | X-Men Origins 3/5 | 900 and 1000 1/5 to 5/5

This collection contains the 5 part Suicide Kings, Games of Death (one-shot I assume), Holiday Special # 2, X-men Origins: Deadpool, 900 and 1000 issue (whatever that is) and some Marvel Spotlight thing. I liked the Suicide Kings story, Games Of Death was okay, X-men Origins not so good and 900 and 1000 I'm ambivalent on because it's just a mess of stories rolled into one.I guess some are okay. *shruggs* I like a majority of the art work but some is just so painfully bad that I question "how the hell did these douches make it into the comic business in the first ****ing place?". Oral stimulation would be my guess. Overall, I recommend this collection at a cheap-a** price. I liked it well enough.

This book was really good. It contains a one shot titled Games Of Death, the title story Suicide Kings, Deadpool #900 & 1000, which consists of various short stories, and the one shot X-Men Origins: Deadpool, which is good to read if you're new to the character. The Games Of Death one shot is a cool little story that comes with a surprise twist. Suicide Kings is easily one of my favorite Deadpool stories, because it has a little bit of everything. And the various short stories in Deadpool #900 & 1000 are good too. Some are a little weird, but overall they are still good. I recommend this book to both Deadpool fans, and to those who are new to the character.

So many volumes of Deadpool, so little time. The main story that the title of the volume is about comes in second after an insane Enter the Dragon-like story. Suicide Kings was actually pretty good, with Deadpool teaming up with Daredevil and Spiderman (who I was reading in the voice from the 90's cartoon, man I'm such a geek) and fighting the awesome villain Tombstone! But the rest of the volume is filled with short one-shots, including the Widdle Wade issue for the third time. Seriously why are they repackaging this story in these volumes? It's not even that great. And we also get a lame parody of DC's Blackest Night involving the Deadpool Corps. Also some of the artwork in these issues are ugly, especially in the one where Deadpool has an existential crisis. However some of the issues were not so bad, like the one about the superpowered mimes and this cat and mouse story set in a casino. And the final issue is basically a recap of Deadool's origin and a jab at modern movies, but it does have a surprise ending that I won't spoil. This volume is chalk full of hits and misses, but I guess not every Deadpool story is going to be gold.

The Suicide Kings story is pretty weak, but still entertaining. There are only 5 issues, so it's a fast read- the remainder of the book is filled with one-offs, a couple of which are already in some of the other "Deadpool Classic" volumes, which was kind of a letdown. The 392 pages claim in the details is also sort of misleading, with 50 of those pages being taken up by a "Marvel Spotlight" of old Deadpool stories and alternative covers

After the in my opinion somewhat disappoiting Deadpool Team Up stories, which were weak in regards of graphics and display of good ol wades character, suicide kings is back on track! I generally prefer the stories where Deadpools wise cracking is an addition to his character and not its center piece. He is after all one hell of a skilled mercenary and more than capable to step up to some of Marvels heavy hitters. In Suicide Kings he is on full display how dangerous and degenerate he is and we also have some nice appearances by old fellows like Crazy Inez (don`t call her that name) aka Outlaw. I won't spoil too much of the stories here, but any issue featuring DP stepping toe to toe with the Punisher always wins me over!
