Rei Toma has been drawing since childhood, but she only began drawing manga because of her graduation project in design school. When she drew a short-story manga,Help Me, Dentist, for the first time, it attracted a publisher's attention and she made her debut right away. Her magnificent art style became popular, and after she debuted as a manga artist, she became known as an illustrator for novels and video game character designs. Her current manga series, Dawn of the Arcana, is her first long-running manga series, and it has been a hit in Japan, selling over a million copies.

This manga is about acceptance and hard decisions. It made me cry a lot. It is very heart wrenching but very addicting. I like it very much but sometimes it's hard to read. It one of those stories where you feel for the main character but so many bad things happen you can't see how it will turn out alright.

This is one of my favorite series right now. I feel that its so different from what I have and I love it and the characters. They NEVER stop surprising me. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

The bandits storyline is resolved (somewhat) but it leaves Nakaba distressed and losing faith in the world around her.
In the midst of despair the Arcana distracts her with a choice. Two futures, and she'll have to decide which one occurs. Either way, someone will die.

Bonus: Adel's and Nabaka's first meeting

Highlight: seeing Loki express his feeling to Nabaka the first time, if only briefly

Dislikes: While it was annoying at the beginning, so many characters are raising their voices now it's starting to grate on my nerves the way their mouths are always gaping wide constantly. It's really unattractive in the art. If the only way to avoid it is more speaking and less yelling, I'm all for it. :-)
