Normally, I am the guy who buys the hardcopy, the first paper print of the comics. Every single week. I am dumping money on paper comics. The ones with the digital code in them go unused. This time... I had to have the digital first comic. And as someone who always buys the paper model,this was unusual for me.
But I loved it.
Nothing was diminished by making this purchase. The story was solid, the art gritty and perfected. It was a great read.
Looks like I have a new way of purchasing comics.
For those interested about the storyline, please make sure you pick up the original mini series DCEASED because while this could be a great intro into a one shot, a lot is missing without the info of knowing what is to come in the original storyline.
