Colleen Frakes graduted from the Center for Cartoon Studies in 2007. That same year she was awarded a Xeric Grant for her first graphic novel "Tragic Relief". Her second graphic novel "Woman King" won the Ignatz Award for Promising New Talent in 2009. Clients include Tales of the TMNT, the Burlington newspaper Seven Days, Dark Horse Presents, the Upper Valley United Way, Boise State University and
