Having followed Jennett’s career for many, many years now, it’s great to see him and his work finally gaining the recognition he/it deserves. For anyone that doesn’t know his work, he combines his experience in the video games and comic world with his natural talent as an artist and overflowing imagination to deliver a fabulous piece of work known as Chronos Commandos. Pitting the Allies (with help from Einstein) against the Nazi’s and Dinosaurs (some of my favorite subject matter), Jennett takes you on a beautiful adventure mingles tension with dark humour.
His artistic ability (illustrative skills and use of color) mixed with great dialog and humour serves up a thought provoking and exciting story that twists and turns through the juxtaposing imagery (death and butterflies ) that is hard to put down. I got the complete graphic novel because I knew that it would be hard to put down.
Anyone reading that likes the idea of a story that blends elements of John Carpenter’s “the thing”, “the dirty dozen” and “Jurassic Park” should buy this book as soon is possible. It’s a great deal and well worth the money. I’m looking forward to Jennett’s next project and strongly advise any reader out there (young or old) to pick up a copy. I’ve spoken many times with him and he really has a great view of what it takes to make a great story, and take the reader on a journey that many in Hollywood could benefit from. I would love to see what he could do if given the time and money to make a movie. Like John Carpenter, he could make an amazing movie with very little.
Happy Reading!

Short for the money

A great idea for a story, which starts off really good and gripping. But what out me off is the price and how short this first part is, few minutes reading at most, no longer than any commando comic.
