Every damn book just makes me want to read the next. Why are they on the island, what is the islands secret, how come every fruit and vegitable they have is edible? What are those strange towers? It's like Lost, just better.

good manga

In this section Akira's group goes to save Kanako from the giant apes. Good character growth from Mariya and Zaji. A traitor comes from among Akira's group too as does a death. You also get to see Eiken's group and a mysterious Monument. And just when Akira's group gets to that very same Monument, you find out that Eiken's group has mysteriously vanished. Dun Dun Dun!

3 stars because of fan serve and nude scenes. Blech :P The series would be near five stars if it didn't have that in it. It's good enough where it can stand on its own without anything like that.

I would give this five stars if it had been available in a well-made Hardcover omnibus edition, perhaps fully colorized. But it is still a great example of a well thought out manga story.
