A Tale of One (Sick) City
This was a good read, but some parts were confusing. There were two protagonists in this issue, unlike in Volume 1 (which is its own separate story about a Nameless Hunter who escorts Paleblood). The transition between protagonists can be a little bit jarring, especially when done within such a short comic book. The transition between some of the scenes is also confusing. In one instance someone is sitting down. Then in the next few scenes, his face becomes bloody, and even though I finished the game, I didn't know what was going on (see attached picture).Still, I recommend this if you're a fan of the games.Bloodborne Volume 2: The Healing Thirst collects issues #5-8. It shows how Yharnam came to be afflicted with the curse of beasthood after people used too much of the blood of the Old Gods. You don't need to read Volume 1 first to read this book. All four volumes tell a different story in the world of Bloodborne.

Art captures BB’s vibe and has an entertaining story. A lovely addition to the world of Bloodborne.

The odd couple dynamic that forms between a good-natured priest and a haughty doctor who team-up to solve the mystery of Ashen Blood makes for a great story. I would recommend this graphic novel to someone who doesn't even know Bloodborne, I think the characters are well written enough to stand on their own and the art is great.

As a huge fan and lorehunter of Bloodborne, there are some minor quibbles with how Ales Kot portrays the Healing Church and the timeline that I'm willing to overlook. I think this is by far the best volume of the Bloodborne comic series.

Art is very vivid and keeps up with the lore of the video game. The writing was a bit different from the last one and had a lot of "journal" entries from these new characters. Which is normally fine for me but it was kind of unappealing how it was tiny text on solid black. The comic didn't really show me anything new that I didn't already know from the game, but it was interesting read for the characters.

Good quality paper and spine, and a little bit more insight into the world of bloodborne. Plenty of fun

This second volume ventures into unexplored territory with some original characters. While it is set earlier than the game, it is fun to see more of this setting and see what Yharnam was like before it completely descended into madness.

Bloodborne fans will love this!
The cover is made of semi-hard glossy papper and matte papper in the interior.
Quality print.
Dialogs are short, it's mainly focused on artwork.
Shipped by Amazon in a small carton box which protects very well the magazine from hits, not water proof though.

Lixo.
